The RESPECT Program is an educational counseling program for domestic violence offenders who are identified by either the court or by themselves as having a problem with being physically, verbally, or emotionally abusive to their domestic partners.
Individuals enroll for 26 weekly group sessions. Education and group discussion are utilized to assist the individual in examining and changing attitudes and beliefs about violence. Participants learn and practice respectful, non-violent ways to communicate needs and resolve conflicts.
