One of the museum's main
purposes is the acquisition of local material culture--the objects,
artifacts, and paper documents that trace the history of Auburn and Cayuga
County. The materials we collect are used in exhibitions, educational
programs, and research into the county's past. The museum's storage space in its previous state. The current renovation project will transform the attic into a fully controlled environment ideal for the preservation of Cayuga County's historical treasures. |
