    JULY

July 3, 2008 - History Book Club - A Shopkeeper's Millennium: Society and Rivals in Rochester, NY 1815-1837 by Paul E. Johnson. Discussion begins at 7 PM.

July 4, 2008 - Museum Closed for the Holiday. Happy Independence Day!

July 16, 2008 - Beginner's Cross Stitch class, 10:30 AM. Free. Call 253-8051 to register.

July 23, 2008 - Beginner's Knitting class, 10:30 AM. Free. Call 253-8051 to register.

  AUGUST

August 7, 2008 - History Book Club - Mound Builders by Robert Silverberg. Discussion begins at 7 PM.

August 17, 2008 - Bar-B-Cayuga - Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (plenty for second helpings) and hot bands at Emerson Park shelter on Deauville Island, 3 - 6 PM, Tickets are $35. per person and are available NOW at the Cayuga Museum. No ticket sales after August 11th. 

  SEPTEMBER

September 4, 2008 - History Book Club - No Man Knows My History: The Life of Joseph Smith by Fawn M. Brodie. Discussion begins at 7 PM.

September 28, 2008 - A Child's World exhibit closes.

  OCTOBER

October 2, 2008 - History Book Club - Edison and the Electric Chair: A Story of Light and Death by Mark Essig. Discussion begins at 7 PM.

October 12, 2008 - Annual Quilt Show opens. Details are forthcoming.

October 17, 2008 - Fall Poetry Readings, 7PM. Open to the public. Call Jim Delaney at 252-5934 to be put on the list of readers.

  NOVEMBER

November 6, 2008 - History Book Club - Title to be announced. Discussion begins at 7 PM.

November 22, 2008 - Annual Gala Cocktail Party and Raffle, 7PM. Call for information and tickets. (Note: tickets for this event will be available in September)

November 27, 2008 - CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

  DECEMBER

December 4, 2008 - History Book Club - Title to be announced. Discussion begins at 7 PM.

December 14, 2008 - Holiday Traditions -  All of Auburn's Historic and Cultural Sites welcome the public for this day of FREE admission as a way of giving back to the community we serve. The Cayuga Museum is open Noon to 5PM. Check with the individual sites for their hours of operation.

December 24 and 25, 2008 - The Museum will be closed to the public so that our staff can celebrate the holidays with their families.

December 31, 2008 - Quilt show closes.
