PERMANENT
EXHIBITS ON DISPLAY
The
Case Research Lab Museum
A permanent
display at the site, the building where Theodore Case developed
the first successful sound-on-film technology now houses an
exhibit telling the full story of how "talkies" were invented in
our own backyard.
A Child's World:
Visitors will
experience a view of childhood stretching from colonial times to
the present, exploring ideas of education, family, and child
labor. Included in this exhibit are samplers made by young
girls, toys and games as well as items such as indenture papers
which illustrate the less pleasant side of the 19th century.
Also included is the newly restored painting of the Seymour Boys
as well as some Museum's newest acquisitions. |
