America Recycles Day Electronics Event November 14, 2009 Cayuga County and the City of Auburn are joining forces to offer Cayuga County and City of Auburn residents an America Recycles Day home electronics recycling event. Date, Time, Place: Saturday, November 14, 2009 Running from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Located at the City of Auburn Landfill at 311 North Division Street, Auburn. Fees: $5 fee for each computer monitor. $5 fee for each television. Limit 2 televisions per household. All other electronics are FREE! Acceptable Household Electronics Include: Computers and Monitors Computer Accessories Printers Circuit Boards Terminals TV's (Limit 2) Microwaves Audio/Visual Equipment Fax Machines Typewriters Telecom Equipment Cell Phones Cables and Wiring Electronic Scrap Video Game systems (for example Nintendo or Sega systems) Not Accepted Fluorescent Bulbs (future event) Kitchen or personal appliances (toasters, hairdryers, etc.) Freon appliances (future event) If you have questions about whether or not a specific item will be accepted, please call Renee Jensen at 315.255.1183, or email solidwaste@cornell.edu.
