Thank You Cayuga County Residents!

Recycling this electronic equipment captures lead and other potentially toxic components for reuse. Monitor glass and TV picture tubes contain lead and by collecting them, a significant amount of lead will not be contaminating our environment.

2008 events were sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County, Cayuga County Department of Planning and Economic Development, and the Soil and Water Conservation District. Funding was provided by the Cayuga County Legislature, NUCOR Steel of Auburn, Inc. and the NYS DEC.
