Needles, syringes, lancets and other sharp health care products should NEVER be recycled. They may be contaminated and pose a danger to recycling workers. They can also cause costly delays and equipment malfunctions during the recycling process.
TO PROPERLY DISPOSE OF SHARPS
  1. Place sharps in a puncture-proof container and cover with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Label the container with your name, address, and phone number.
  3. Call one of the drop-off locations below to arrange for someone to meet you.
